Collaboration for Progress

Partnerships play a crucial role in our mission. By working together, we leverage resources and expertise to drive tangible progress in Sustainable Development Goals.

The Role of Our Partners

Our partners are vital to achieving our mission and advancing sustainable development goals. They help us extend our outreach, share valuable resources, and strengthen community ties. Through collaboration, we can effectively tackle challenges and create lasting change. Each partnership contributes uniquely to enhancing the impact of our initiatives.

Collaborative Initiatives

By working together with various stakeholders, we can promote awareness and drive action. Our collaborative initiatives focus on sharing knowledge, providing training, and engaging local communities. Each effort is designed to empower individuals and create a collective understanding of the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals in our nation.

Partners in Progress

Our Valued Partnerships

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

The UNDP, as the UN's global development network, brings to the table technical expertise, global knowledge, and operational capacity.

National Development Planning Commission

The NDPC is directly responsible for embedding the SDGs into Ghana's key development plans (like the Coordinated Programme of Economic and Social Development Policies) and ensuring they are reflected in the plans of Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs).

Ministries Departments and Agencies

The roles of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in Ghana are absolutely critical to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They are the primary machinery for localizing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on the SDGs within the country. The relationship can be summarized as follows: The SDGs provide the what—the universal targets and aspirations—while the MDAs determine the how—the national policies, programs, and projects to achieve them.

Ghana Civil Society Forum

In Ghana, CSOs are not merely implementing partners; they are strategic, independent, and essential actors in the SDG ecosystem. They provide the vital link between policy and people, ensuring that the ambitious 2030 Agenda is not just a government project but a national endeavor grounded in accountability, inclusion, and the active participation of all citizens. The success of the SDGs in Ghana is inextricably linked to the strength, space, and sustainability of its civil society.
